Yesterday we had practice in the morning and then the rest of the day to relax. A bunch of us ended up going down to Balboa Island and renting an electric boat for a cruise of Newport Harbor. It was nice to get out and be on the water instead of in it. The scenery was incredible. I’ve never seen so many enormous yachts and sailboats. I can only imagine how much money some of them cost…We also came across some sea lions that were perched up on the back of someone’s boat. I have a picture of them in this album. Pretty fun stuff…Got dinner at cool restaurant last night called True Food and it was really good.
Today was a normal training day. Two practices and then the team went over to Junior Nationals to get recognized. Only 5 more days until Pan Pacs starts…
